THE SHADOW DANCER COLLECTION

In Feudal Japan there were two classes of warriors, the noble Samurai and the Shinobi (しのび), those of the lower classes who carried out espionage and assassination missions for their Lords.

The Shadow Dancer Collection is a series of five Japanese Tanto and Kaiken exploring the legendary Shinobi. Each piece in this collection is named after a famous Shinobi, and each one is crafted individually using unique materials which reflect the personality they are named after.

In this Collection we will explore the men, and some women, who dared to be different in a world ruled by a strict code of honour. Their daring exploits and stories are celebrated in steel, which is perhaps a fitting tribute.
